Did you vote on November 6th? I did, and afterwards I couldn't help but feel gratified. I have never taken interest in the midterm elections until now. My guess is, there are many people who shared my beliefs and thought voting was a waste of time; but this year I felt as though I had to vote, since everywhere I turned and every radio station I listened to emphasized our right to vote as black people.
In other news, I have an event scheduled this Saturday, November 10th from 1p.m. - 3p.m. at Doylestown Library, located at 150 S. Pine Street, Doylestown, PA 18901! I will be available to sign books, and you are more than welcome to purchase books missing from your collection of The Chrystelle Series!
Also, this Saturday I will be a guest on Fireflies Unite Podcast With Kea! I had the pleasure of hearing this young lady speak for the first time at an event we attended in Delaware, and after that I knew I had to connect with her. Not only is Kea a suicide survivor, she's a writer, as well as an advocate for mental health, and I'm excited to work with her!
Last, but certainly not least, The Chrystelle Series Book Club will be having it's 3rd meeting next Saturday, November 17th from 10a.m. - 12p.m. at Spotlight Deliverance Temple, located at 119 Walnut St, Bristol, PA 19007. Usually our meetings are held once a month at noon, but due to prior engagements we had to adjust the time this month. We are always looking forward to newcomers, so if you're not busy, we would love to have you!
Until the next blog, I pray God's favor and blessings on your life!
